La posologie quotidienne efficace est de 3 prises espacées de 8 heures de 8 mg/kg de quinine base pendant 5 à 7 jours (24 mg/kg de quinine base par jour en 3 prises) :
·pour un sujet d’environ 30 kg : 1 comprimé, 3 fois par jour,
·pour un sujet d’environ 60 kg : 2 comprimés par prise, 3 fois par jour,
·pour un sujet d’environ 75 kg : 3 comprimés par prise, 3 fois par jour.
